Shah Rukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi, India. He is an Indian film actor, producer. He is also known as "Baadshah of Bollywood", "King of Bollywood" or "King Khan".
He started his career in late 1980s. He made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with Deewana. Some of his prominent projects are Darr (1993), Baazigar (1993), and Anjaam (1994), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Devdas (2002), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Veer-Zaara (2004), Main Hoon Na (2004), Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), Don (2006), Chak De! India (2007), Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), My Name Is Khan (2010). Ra.One (2011), Don 2 (2011), Always Kabhi Kabhi (2011), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012). Kajol and khan’s movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, is highly successful it became the longest running Indian film of all time.
Khan was reportedly the second-richest actor in the world in 2014, with approximately net worth of US$600 million. He won many awards including 14 Filmfare Awards from 30 nominations. In 2008 Newsweek named him one of their 50 most powerful people in the world. Khan is the brand ambassador of various governmental campaigns, including Pulse Polio and National AIDS Control Organisation.
He married Gauri Chibber on 25 October 1991, his wife belongs to a Hindu family. They have three children, son Aryan Khan (b. 1997), son Abram (b.2013) and daughter Suhana (b. 2000).
